MARLBORO COUNTY — A young team comes into the game with the understanding that this year, coaches would have been more focused on rebuilding.

It only took a matter of days before everyone knew there was no need for it. Not as long as there were key elements in the newly mixed team of kids oozing with talent, athleticism, passion, work ethic and a major component that could take any dominant team from winning to losing: chemistry.

A lot was done throughout the season and much was also achieved. In the process, trophies were collected, medals obtained, and records broken. These young men and women will now be representing Marlboro County Bulldogs Track & Field as they head into the State Championship.

Qualifiers are as follows:

Dayta Watts

Jordyn Zimmerman

Sanyia Purvis

Aaliyah Isola
