The Marlboro County Branch NAACP will hold a political forum on May 24.
The forum will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Bennettsville Community Center, 714 N. Marlboro Street.
The event provides an opportunity to hear local candidates share their plans with the citizens of the county.
Organizers said each candidate will have the opportunity to present his or her political platform within four minutes and will be allowed two minutes to respond to a neutrally generated question.
As a precaution, social distancing will be promoted and everyone attending is required to wear a mask.
