CHERAW— CareSouth Carolina is thrilled to announce its upcoming Community Health Fair in Cheraw, South Carolina, on Saturday, September 14, 2024. The event will take place at the Cheraw Community Center, located at 200 Powe Street, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The health fair is designed to provide valuable health resources, screenings, and wellness services to the community. Attendees will enjoy a variety of offerings, including:

In addition to these services, attendees will have the opportunity to enter drawings for exciting prizes, including a 55” Smart TV and a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. The first 150 attendees will be given free crockpots and gun locks.

“We’re excited to bring this event to Cheraw and provide essential health resources and services to our community,” said Joe Bittle, Chief of Community Health at CareSouth Carolina. “Our goal is to support families and individuals in leading healthier lives by connecting them with the resources and information they need.”

The event is free and open to the public.

“Our commitment goes beyond medical care,” Bittle said. “We conduct Community Needs Assessments to identify and address specific needs, providing assistance in navigation and various other aspects. We offer a complete set of services designed to help individuals meet their needs.”
