Betty Jo Quick was recently honored for her efforts to help victims of flooding throughout Marlboro County following Tropical Storm Debby. Audrey Erdman, community engagement and partnership manager with the American Red Cross, said Quick’s tenacious spirit and advocacy for the citizens in Marlboro County made her an incredible partner to work with. “She really helped us drive our damage assessments where they needed to be and help us quickly get a better idea of the level of damage,” Erdman said.
