Chiphe partners with Marlboro County Museum to raise funds for historic preservation projects
Blessings and love to all on this glorious day, Mark your calendar and save the date. On July 21, 2024, at 4:00 PM, the Berea Association and I will host a Celebrate Marlboro County party and book launch for my book, THIS FAR BY FAITH: AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY OF MARLBORO COUNTY. We will celebrate and honor over 100 citizens for their faithful contributions to Marlboro County. As well as present a complimentary copy of the book to each celebrant. The book is $25.00 per copy. I will work with the Marlboro County Museum and donate 20% of the profits from this book to support the museum and historic preservation projects in the county. In addition, I will partner with the Museum to create exhibits to provide field studies for the students of Marlboro County and citizens in general. Each sponsor will be acknowledged in the book.
