WALLACE—The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office conducted Operation Mr. Postman at a residence on Pleasant Hill Rd. in the Wallace area of Marlboro County. And made two arrests.

This operation was based on an investigation into illegal drugs being shipped to the residents of the home on Pleasant Hill Road. The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office was made aware of this illegal shipment and was able to obtain a search warrant for the premises. The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office did conduct the search warrant where Ladonnsa Shakia Ford, 32 of Wallace was arrested. During the search warrant, an additional 20 pounds of suspected marijuana was found at the residence along with two handguns. A stolen K10 450cc dirt bike that was reported stolen from Dillon County in 2021, was recovered from the property as well. A total of nearly 40 pounds of suspected marijuana was seized during this operation. Ford was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana of more than 10 pounds less than 100 pounds criminal conspiracy, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Ford received a $65,000 surety bond with GPS during her bond hearing Friday afternoon at the Marlboro County Magistrate’s Office.

On Tuesday, Antwan Levonte Quick, 27 of Wallace turned himself in at the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office. Quick is being charged with trafficking marijuana of more than 10 pounds less than 100 pounds possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, criminal conspiracy, and receiving stolen goods value greater than $10,000.
