McLaurin Joins NLC as Senior Regional Specialist for the West Region

WASHINGTON, DC — The National League of Cities (NLC) announced today that Jaheem McLaurin has joined the organization as a Senior Regional Specialist for the West Region. In this role, Jaheem will work closely with city leaders across the West to support initiatives focused on growth, equity, and community-centered solutions.

“I’m excited to join the National League of Cities as Senior Regional Specialist for the West Region,” said McLaurin. “My work across local government, political campaigns, and advocacy organizations has prepared me for this moment, grounding me in how policy, people, and implementation intersect at the local level. I look forward to partnering with city leaders to strengthen governance, support communities, and help cities deliver for the people they serve.”

Jaheem McLaurin brings extensive experience in public service and community engagement, having worked on both government initiatives and political campaigns, as well as with advocacy organizations focused on advancing equitable policies at the local level.
