CHERAW Northeastern Technical College (NETC) is thrilled to announce two exciting Esports Summer Camps aimed at middle school and high school students this summer.

The camps, led by Esports coach Tyler Nolan, will provide an exceptional opportunity for young gamers to enhance their skills and gain valuable insights into the world of competitive esports.

The middle school camp for students in sixth-eighth grades will take place on July 11-13, while the high school camp for students in ninth-12th grades will be held on July 17-19.

Both camps will be conducted at the NETC Cheraw campus and include lunch daily. Registration for the camps is now open and interested participants can secure their spots by visiting our website at www.netc.edu.

At a cost of $50, both camps will span three days and cover a wide range of topics aimed at developing essential gaming skills.

Participants will engage in interactive sessions focusing on hand-eye coordination, strategy development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Furthermore, they will delve into the realm of sports psychology in esports, sportscasting, sports journalism, and engage in intense game play sessions.

The camps will be led by Tyler Nolan, a former professional esports player and NETC’s esteemed coach, the camp will provide advanced training sessions and in-depth discussions on various aspects of esports. Students will explore strategic gameplay techniques, refine their teamwork abilities, and gain insights into the world of sportscasting and sports journalism.
