The MCHS Girls Wrestling team travels Thursday (Feb. 23) to Anderson for their state tournament on Friday and Saturday.

“We have four going,” he said.
They are Lyric Bingham, Haylee Duncan, Shia Lloyd, and Mary Williams.
MCHS competed in Lower State individual on Feb. 17.
McMillan said the team finished 16 out of 20 teams.
“This was an improvement from last year when the team finished 19,” he said.
Trevon Drayton won two matches at Lower State, falling in the semi-finals.
AJ Bostic won one match and finished ninth.
Jameson Bethea won one match and finished seventh.
Zyair Bellamy won two matches and finished seventh.
Haylee Duncan won one match and finished ninth.
McMillan said Duncan also became the first female to his knowledge to win both a dual team playoff match and an individual lower state match.
