MARLBORO COUNTY — The Marlboro County High School Junior Varsity Bulldogs continued their dominant start to the 2026 season with a 32–20 victory over the Conway Tigers, improving their record to 4–0.

The matchup, played at Marlboro County High School, showcased the Bulldogs’ explosive offense and steady defensive pressure as they controlled the game from start to finish. Marlboro County struck early and maintained momentum throughout the first half, using a balanced attack to keep Conway off rhythm. The JV squad’s identity mirrors the varsity program’s physical style, and the Bulldogs leaned on that toughness to build a multi-score lead before halftime.

Conway attempted to rally in the second half, but Marlboro County’s defense held firm. The Bulldogs limited explosive plays and forced the Tigers into long-field situations, ultimately preserving the 12‑point margin. The victory marked Marlboro County’s fourth straight win of the season, continuing a trend of decisive performances that included earlier blowouts of Crestwood (62–0) and a non‑JV opponent (48–7). With the win, the JV Bulldogs remain one of the region’s most promising young teams. Their next matchup will test their discipline and consistency as they move deeper into the fall schedule.

The 32–20 victory over Conway reinforces what Bennettsville already knows: the future of Marlboro County football is bright, fast, and fearless.
