The Marlboro County Bulldogs kicked off their 2025 season in commanding fashion Friday night at McAlpine Stadium, steamrolling the Lake Marion Gators with a decisive 56–6 victory.

From the opening kickoff, Marlboro County controlled the tempo, executing on both sides of the ball with precision and intensity. This win was definitely a meal served cold towards any doubts leading up to the opening season. As redemption for the Bulldogs … lets just say, they’ re just getting started!

Next up, the Bulldogs will face the Cheraw Braves who are also victors in their 48 – 7 scorch against the McBee Panthers. The game is set in the Braves backyard, so let’s get out there and support our DAWGS!!
