GREENSBORO, NC — This past weekend, the Greensboro Coliseum buzzed with energy as wrestlers from across the region competed in the 2025 BODYARMOR State Games. Among the standout athletes was Kiersten Graham, our very own from Marlboro County who brought grit, determination and heart to the mat.
Representing MCHS and her club (Real Wrestlers Real Heros) with pride, Kiersten competed in the Folkstyle and Freestyle divisions (Double Brackets), showcasing her versatility and technical skill. Her matches drew attention for her aggressive takedowns and strategic mat control, earning praise from coaches and spectators alike.
Kiersten’s performance was a testament to her hard work and dedication to the sport which landed her in 1st place (158 lbs class) and 2nd place (190 lbs class), however she left Greensboro with something even more valuable — experience, confidence and momentum heading into the next season.
As one of the rising stars in her weight class, Kiersten Graham is definitely a name to watch in the wrestling world.
