MARLBORO COUNTY — Not far behind however it may have seemed to look when watching Marlboro Academy players step, hurdle, or slide onto the home base that would ultimately bring in (7) seven runs.
The Red Devils came up short by only one run which sealed the deal for Marlboro Academy. Some would say this was a very intense match up. Both teams came with players who have dominant and resilient characteristics which is possibly what may have led them into overtime. And with the sheer thrill and excitement from the game, this is one of those moments where you could watch every inning with a never ending expectancy!
Unfortunately, all things must come to an end and that’s how it was proclaimed.
