MCCOLL — Marlboro County Parks and Recreation recognized the 10U basketball team of McColl who went undefeated. Becoming champions was undeniable as the winning streak continued to rain down on each and every opposing team.
A banquet ceremony was given to acknowledge their hard work and efforts in becoming the champs, but the coaches and staff along with the support of others felt compelled to do more.
In doing so, championship rings were purchased and given to the team (players and coaches). The kids were ecstatic — leaving most of them speechless.
This was an all around job well done on everyone’s part. Let us continue to keep pouring into our youth, their future depends on it.
