Scarecrow Fest held last Saturday

It was beautiful fall weather for the Scarecrow Fest on Nov. 2. There was plenty of live entertainment, food and children’s activities at the annual event. Steppin Out Dance Company was the winner of the 2019 Downtown Scarecrow Contest. Above, dancers from Academy of Movement 2 performed. At right, the petting zoo area was popular with youth. Below is an overview of the festival taken from the Bennettsville Fire Department’s ladder truck.
