County residents had a chance to look at the proposed redistricting maps Tuesday night.
Approximately 50 citizens came to the large court room in the Marlboro County Courthouse on Tuesday to view the maps.
County Administrator Ron Munnerlyn said it was not a formal meeting but a chance for the community to view the maps and ask questions.
County Council has scheduled a called meeting at 6 p.m. Feb. 28 in the council chambers at the Marlboro County Economic Development Partnership Building.
There will be a public hearing for the proposed redistricting maps and third reading of ordinance #825, the redistricting ordinance.
