RALEIGH – President and CEO Steven Martin of Constellation Quality Health (formerly CCME), which this year celebrates its 40th year delivering unparalleled leadership in health care, has joined the inaugural board of the Alliance for a Healthier South Carolina (AHSC).

Martin, a native of Bennettsville, has also been voted secretary/treasurer of the board.

“As a native of South Carolina, I’m honored to be invited to serve on the Alliance board and contribute toward access to and equity in health care for all South Carolinians,” Martin said. “The Alliance is a longstanding partner of Constellation Quality Health, and, collectively as a board, we will utilize our strengths to impact population health in the state.”

The Alliance for a Healthier South Carolina is a coalition of more than 60 executive leaders from diverse organizations across the state working together to ensure that all people in South Carolina have the opportunity to have healthier bodies, minds, and communities while reducing the future cost of care.

“Steven brings extensive experience in teamwork that improves the quality of health care in communities,” said AHSC Executive Director Monty Robertson. “With Steven’s deep knowledge of the Carolinas and his impressive leadership skills, he is an inspiring leader to guide us as we launch our first executive board at the Alliance.”
