The Marlboro County Museum is accepting entries in its 2022 Photography Contest through Saturday, November 12.
This is the fifth year of the contest, which is open to both adult and youth photographers.
In the Adult contest, there will be prizes awarded in four categories: Historic Places, Marlboro County Life, Nature, and a new category this year, Open. In the first three categories, the photos must be taken in Marlboro County.
In the Open category, photos do not have to be of Marlboro County subject matter. A photographer may enter as many categories as desired; there is a limit of two photos per category for each photographer.
Due to lower participation in previous years, all entries in the Youth contest will be judged together, rather than by a specific category. There is a limit of three photos per youth photographer.
Entries must be submitted no later than Saturday, Nov. 12.
High-resolution photos should be emailed to: lmcqueen@marlborocounty.sc.gov. Each entry should include the name, address, and phone number of the photographer, and the location/explanation of the photo.
Adult entries should also include the category in which the photo is being entered. Youth entries should include the age of the photographer and a parent or guardian’s contact information.
