The oldest house in Bennettsville has a new address.
The Edward Crosland home was moved from South Parsonage Street on Tuesday to the grounds of the Shiness building located at 100 Fayetteville Avenue.
The home was built in the 1800s and the City of Bennettsville was founded in 1819.
Daniel and Elisabeth McNiel have plans to renovate and turn the old home into an Airbnb rental property.
A story and photos about the Crosland home, its move, and future plans will be in the July 28 issue of the Herald-Advocate.
A video showing the move from Parsonage Street to its new home will be posted on the Herald-Advocate Facebook page.
