MCCOLL— It’s no secret in McColl that Councilwoman Brenda Barfield is a driving force behind efforts to beautify her hometown. Barfield has employed the help of numerous volunteers who are also eager to see McColl start fulfilling its potential— one colorful plantar at a time.
As part of her, and the town’s initiative to glow up streets and uptown businesses, the sign outside McColl City Hall is also garnering some tender, love, and care from the town’s committed volunteers, in the form of flowers and flags. Some notable folks who have helped to improve the sign’s overall presentation are Mario Romero, Robert Beverly, Greater Fair Plains AME Zion Church, Latasha Watins, Morris Plant Farm and Doug Jennings.
