BENNETTSVILLE — The Marines of the Bennettsville Marine Corps League Detachment 1219 installed their recently elected/appointed officers for 2026 at the Detachment’s stated meeting on April 27.
The Bennettsville Marine Corps League Detachment was nationally chartered in 2005 and meets at 7 p.m. at the Bennettsville Community Kitchen on S. Liberty Street on the last Monday of each month. Membership is open to all Marines, FMF Corpsman, FMF Chaplains, and all individuals as associate members who support the League’s principles and purposes of preserving Marine Corps traditions, supporting Marines and their families, promoting American citizenship, and honoring the fallen.
In Bennettsville, its primary community outreach is supporting Toys for Tots.
