MARLBORO COUNTY — Two area teens are reported missing by their loved ones.
This week, the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office requested public assistance in locating 17-year-old Dalton Wayne Ard. The Ard family says they have not heard from the missing teen since Friday, January 30, which they say is unusual behavior for him.
The sheriff’s office says Ard typically frequents the Bennettsville area of Marlboro County.
Dalton is described as a 5’9 white male with brown hair and eyes.

In nearby Maxton, NC, Aaliyah Collette Massey, 16, was reported missing after she reportedly snuck out of her bedroom window Thursday, February 5.
Aaliyah is described as a 5’4 female weighing 115 lbs. with brown hair and eyes. Her family says she may be wearing a Coach bracelet and an Infinity ring.
Anyone who has information regarding the location of Aaliyah is requested to contact the Maxton Police Department.
