BENNETTSVILLE — The Bennettsville Fire Department was excited to announce this week the firefighters within its ranks who successfully completed continuing education courses: Garrett Sweatt, Maddox Perdue, and Cory Brumett.
All three firefighters completed Emergency Vehicle Driver Training, Pump Operations 1 and 2, R.O.L.L. Reducing Opioid Loss of Life, and Incident Command-ICS-700 and 800, and Technical Rescuer training.
BFD says these classes began in the summer of 2025 and represent many hours of classroom instruction, hands-on training, and dedication, adding, this commitment strengthens our department and enhances the service we provide to our community.
