MARLBORO COUNTY — Members of the Sawmill Missionary Baptist Church Scholarship Committee awarded 17 area youths for academic achievement Sunday, April 13.
Monetary gifts were given to the following youth:
All A’s – (Principal List): Alyssea Adams and McKenzie Douglas.
A/B (Honor Roll): Addison Hersey, Malia Bridges Fuller, Aubrey Bridges Fuller, Shamyra Gee, Willandria Gee, and Tyreon Lowery. Effort: Jacquez Littles, Miracle McBride, Destiny McCoy, David Springle, London Fortune, Skylar Little, Kennedi Graham, Brycen Primus, and Zion Smith.
Members encouraged students to put forth their best efforts and continue to strive for success.
The Sunday School Department sponsored an Easter Egg Hunt and dinner Monday, April 21 at the Sawmill Family Life Center. Mrs. Linda Calhoun is Superintendent of the Sunday School Department and Rev. James J. Anderson is pastor.
