CLIO — Marlboro County residents took advantage of the warm Saturday weather at “The Bluff” in Clio.

Daniel Williams, of McColl, was among those enjoying the day, casting his line in a spot where he had spotted fish jumping. A frequent visitor of The Bluff, Williams said he has been fishing there for years, particularly enjoying it more since his retirement. Meanwhile, Manuel Vazquez spent quality time fishing and walking with his son, Manuel Jr. Nearby, Natalia Cagle cast her line, hoping for a catch, with her mother and uncle nearby.

Temperatures reached the mid-70s on Saturday, ahead of the rain expected this weekend.
