• On January 12 law enforcement officials responded to a reported incident of burglary and larceny at a residence situated on old McColl-Clio Road. The victim indicated that he believed he was familiar with the identity of the individual responsible for stealing the four-wheeler. Following an investigation, facilitated by the victim’s assistance, the four-wheeler was successfully recovered. The investigation led to Christian Blake Fagala, who has been implicated in receiving stolen goods.
Consequently, Fagala was charged and transported to the Marlboro County Detention Center. Investigator Josh Hatcher spearheaded the investigation into this matter. This case remains ongoing, and anyone with information regarding the individual(s) involved is urged to contact the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office at 843-479-5605 or via Facebook messenger.
• The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the United States Marshals Service and Fayetteville Police Department, successfully apprehended Brolyn Raquan Henry in Fayetteville, North Carolina, without incident. Henry was sought in connection with a shooting that occurred on December 30, 2024, at a residence located on New Bridge Road, McColl, South Carolina. Henry was extradited on January 23, 2025, to the Marlboro County Detention Center, where he was formally charged and booked without incident for assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature. During Henry’s arrest in North Carolina, a search of his residence resulted in him and co-defendants being charged with gun and drug offenses. A bond hearing for Henry will be scheduled at a later time in Marlboro County. The victim in this incident received treatment for gunshot wounds and has since made a physical recovery.
Bond: $100,000 surety with GPS monitoring
• The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Brady Wayne Deal on Williams Street in McColl, South Carolina, for trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. Deal was found in possession of 23.68 grams of a clear, crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine, along with marijuana and a loaded 9mm Smith & Wesson caliber handgun at the time of arrest. Deal was subsequently arrested, charged, and transported to the Marlboro County Detention Center without incident. Deal will be held for bond at a later date. The Sheriff will seek to have the case adopted by federal authorities.
