MWE Public Library has several upcoming Christmas activities

Marian Wright Edelman Public Library has several Christmas activities taking place.
The movie Rudolph will be shown at the library at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 9 in the Kinney room.
Santa Claus will return to Marian Wright Edelman Public Library for the fourth year from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 14.
Free tickets will be given so children can visit with Santa and be able to have their photo taken with him.
Photos will not be printed but will be posted on Facebook to allow parents to download them.
During the event, Jack Swann Jr. and Joey Kubis will play live Christmas music.
The third annual Giving Tree, sponsored by MWE, will provide gifts for the clients at the Marlboro County Disabilities and Special Needs Board.
The tree is decorated with requests from clients. People are needed to come to the library, select a number and buy the item that the person has requested.
All gifts are due at the library by Dec. 13.
Some of the items requested by clients include t-shirts, belts, socks, hats, purses, costume jewelry, adult coloring books, crayons, and lotion.
For more information, call MWE at 843-479-5630.
