BENNETTSVILLE — Members of the Bennettsville-Cheraw Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will sponsor their Miss Delta Doll Pageant Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 4 p.m. at the Marlboro Civic Center in Bennettsville. This year’s theme is “Be You!” The pageant will offer an evening of talent and entertainment as four young participants compete for the title of Miss Delta Doll.
The Miss Delta Doll pageant is an event that is held biennially by the chapter and exposes girls ages 3-12 to an environment that fosters positive self-concepts and relationships. In preparation for the pageant, the contestants participated in workshops to promote positive relationships, self-development, health and wellness in addition to raising funds that will be used to support the public service initiatives of the sorority.
Miss Delta Doll 2023-2025 is Kaylynn Thomas. Kaylynn daughter of Quinn and Kayanna Thomas will take her final walk as the contestants for this year compete for the title of Miss Delta Doll.
Miss Delta Doll contestants are as follows:
Kailani Jones is the daughter of Ms. Whitney Warren. Kailani is eight years old and attends Wallace Elementary-Middle School. Her sponsor is Yolonda DuPree.
Chy’ess Mariah Harrison is the daughter of Charlene and Marnell Harrison. Chy’ess is four years old. Her sponsor is Mishiko Taylor.
Gabrielle David is the daughter of Jamie and Gabrel David. Gabrielle is five years old and attends Dillon Christian School. Her sponsors are Eunice Ray and Karen Clark.
Bria Eyanna Cook is the daughter of Eyan Cook and Bianca Mclaughlin. Bria is eleven years old and attends Blenheim Middle School of Discovery. Her sponsors are Qushika Lucas and Sandra Malichi.
The co-chairs for this event is LiAsia Tillman and Trina Thompson. Chapter president is Gina Owens and Vice President is Margaret Quick Primus. The public is cordially invited to attend this event.
