Marlboro Academy's softball team will face Pee Dee Academy in a best-of-three series to decide the SCISA Class AA softball crown.  The Lady Dragons will travel to Mullins Monday evening for the series opener.  The second game will be at Marlboro at 5:30 Tuesday.  If a third game is needed it will be played at a neutral site yet to be determined.  The Dragons faced Pee Dee twice in the regular season, crushing the Eagles 10-0 on March 21 and holding on to a 4-0 victory on April 23.  The series is a rematch of the 2017 championship series, which the Lady Dragons won in two games.  Pee Dee won the 2018 championship after the Dragons were surprisingly upset in the qualifying tournament.
