Driver killed in early morning wreck Monday

A man died early Monday morning after a one-vehicle wreck.
S.C. Highway Patrol Lance Corp. Matt Southern said the wreck occurred at 2:30 a.m. on S.C. 385 near Newton Road.
The driver, who has not been identified, was traveling southbound on S.C. 385 in a four-door Toyota passenger car.
He ran off the right side of the roadway, hit a ditch causing the vehicle to overturn and was ejected from the vehicle.
Southern said he was not wearing a seatbelt.
“This collision remains under investigation by S.C. Highway Patrol,” he said.
