Contestants for title of Miss Marlboro Academy

The 51st annual Miss Marlboro Academy Pageant will be presented Saturday, November 9, at 7 p.m. in the school gymnasium. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Eighteen young ladies from grades nine through twelve will vie for the crown.
Freshmen contestants include: Calli Byrd, Kelsey Hunter, and Hartley Talbert.
Representing the sophomore class are: Nina Bennett, Jadyn DeHart, Kimberly Goodwin, Meghan Kessler and Mattie Liles.
Junior class contestants include: Arrington Martin, Katie Munnerlyn, Ally Murray and Sara White.
Representing the senior class are: Graysen Burroughs, Amber Jackson, Abby Lee, Mary Jane Lee, Ragan Liles, and Austin Simmons.
“Saturday Night Fever” serves as the theme of this year’s pageant, which features hits from the 1970’s. Don Greene, Ms. Marlowe Harrington, Mrs. Denise Jones and Mrs. Brooks Liner have teamed up as producers and directors, respectively, for this year’s competition. Ms. Courtney Odom, owner of Elevate Dance Academy is serving as choreographer and is assisting as a producer. Jason Deane of Rockingham will be serving as Master of Ceremonies.
