TATUM — The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Joshua Dudley on 2 counts of Burglary, 2 counts of Domestic Violence, and Malicious Injury to Property stemming from two separate incidents. Allegedly, Dudley entered the victim’s residence through the children’s bedroom window and assaulted the victim, causing property damage. The altercation caused the victim to flee the residence with the children out of fear of Dudley’s erratic behavior. Even though the victim managed to call 911, Dudley had already fled by the time law enforcement arrived. Evidently, Dudley was not done for the night as he later returned to the residence, gained entry, and assaulted the victim a second time before leaving the location with an unidentified individual. Following Dudley’s attack, the victim found shelter at another residence. After learning he was sought by law enforcement, Dudley decided it would be a good idea for him to turn himself in to police. Upon doing so, Dudley was then transported and booked at the Marlboro County Detention Center on August 23, 2025.
