Bicentennial Christmas Parade is Sat.

The City of Bennettsville and Bennettsville Bicentennial Celebration will host a Bicentennial Christmas Parade and Fireworks Show on Saturday to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the founding of the City of Bennettsville and the holiday season.
This family-friendly, free parade will begin at 4 p.m. with step-off from City Hall, 501 East Main Street.
The route will travel west on Main Street, circle the Court House Square and conclude on Broad Street. Approximately 90 units will join in the fun to entertain those present. Grand Marshals for the parade will be the City’s current mayor and council members as well as all former mayors and council members.
A fireworks show to commemorate the City’s 200th anniversary will begin at 6:30 p.m. and be visible throughout downtown Bennettsville. This event will serve as the grand finale for a year’s worth of Bennettsville Bicentennial Celebration activities.
Young and old will enjoy the day and be able to be a part of the City of Bennettsville’s rich history!
