County sees decrease in new COVID-19 cases

Marlboro County is seeing a decrease in its number of active cases.
In the last week, South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control has confirmed 27 new cases with 56 active cases.
The active cases can be found in the following zipcodes: 32, 29512 (Bennettsville); 4, 29525 (Clio); 4, 29570 (McColl); 4, 29596 (Wallace); and 12, unknown.
On June 4, the county had 101 active cases.
No new deaths have been reported. There have been three total deaths in Marlboro County related to COVID-19.
The county has 241 overall cases.
The state has seen a big increase in its number of new cases in the last week. Currently, there are 20,551 confirmed cases and 617 deaths. 
According to the National Social Distancing Scoreboard, the state and nation received an “F.”
Marlboro County received a “C-”, Chesterfield, “D” and Darlington and Dillon counties received “F” grades.
