Bulldogs thrash Lakewood for homecoming win

Bulldogs thrash Lakewood for homecoming win
There is nothing like a game with Lakewood to turn a high school football season around.  Marlboro County has used the Gators more than once to do just that.
Coach Dean Boyd hopes that Friday night's 42-13 win over Lakewood will bring a change in fortune to his 2015 team.
"It was a very good effort by the defense.  On offense, we weren't really in sync but did enough to get the win," said Boyd.
"After the last three weeks, we will celebrate any kind of win," he said.  The Bulldogs had lost the previous three games by more than 20 points.
