— Humane Society of Marlboro County will have a Free Pet Wellness Clinic from 3-6 p.m. at 242 Ag Street in Bennettsville. All Marlboro County residents can bring their pets to receive free vaccinations, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention, microchip, food pantry and pet supplies and discounted and free spay/neuter vouchers. —The Church of Christ, 1301 Hamlet Highway in Bennettsville, will have a free yard sale in the church parking beginning at noon.

—The Trailblazer Award/Scholarship Luncheon is noon in The Butler Heritage Foundation Center 1103, South Sixth Street in Hartsville. Rep. Patricia Henegan will be the keynote speaker. The emcee is Tonya B. Brown of WPDE.

— The Marlboro School Community Center will have its 2022 Women’s History Program at 3 p.m. The theme is “Providing Healing and Promoting Hope.” The keynote speaker is Sen. Mia McLeod. It will feature Evangelist Winona Crosland Hatcher as the mistress of ceremony. It will also feature Dr. Kandace R. Bethea, Marion Schools superintendent; Rep. Pat Henegan; and Melissa Watson, president of the S.C. Democratic Women’s Council. Luncheon tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for youth 12 and under. RSVP by March 19.
