A Bennettsville man, wanted by the North Myrtle Beach Police, was arrested for assault and battery.

Tramayne Maurice Quick, 32, of Bennettsville, was arrested Thursday by the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office.

According to Investigator Clay Anderson, Quick was wanted by the North Myrtle Beach Police Department for assault and battery first degree stemming from an incident on March 11 at 2701 S. Ocean Blvd in North Myrtle Beach where Quick assaulted and stomped a female victim leaving her with several broken bones.

Anderson said Quick was taken into custody without incident by the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office and transported to the Marlboro County Detention Center, where he is being held for North Myrtle Beach Police Department.
