A City of Bennettsville utility worker hangs a Christmas decoration on a street light Tuesday morning. Celebrations this year include a performance of The Nutcracker by the Columbia City Ballet on December 7 and parades in McColl (December 4), Clio (December 13) and Bennettsville (December 14). Following the Bennettsville parade, the city’s bicentennial celebration will wrap up on the courthouse square, including a fireworks show.
