Marlboro County Government will host its second Keep Marlboro County Clean and Green clean-up day on May 4.
Volunteers and organizations, provided with trash bags, will spread out across the county to collect roadside litter and debris.
It is a chance to help make Marlboro County a more beautiful place to work and live.
Last year, over 800 volunteers picked up 24 tons of roadside refuse.  Unfortunately, a clean-up day is as needed this year as it was in 2018.
This year's event is from 8 a.m. until noon on May 4.  Participants will receive a free Keep Marlboro County Clean and Green t-shirt.
Groups or individuals interested in participating may call 843-479-5626 or email edevasst@marlborocounty.sc.gov.
Participants may pick up supplies and complete their area clean up anytime on Friday, May 3 or Saturday, May 4.
