This is Marlboro County’s longest running festival
CLIO—The Cotton Festival kicks off Saturday at 10 a.m. in Clio.
The event opens with a patriotic opening ceremony, which will include opening remarks by Clio’s Mayor, Adam Pate. Ophera Kablan and Jordon Broddy will host the event. The day promises to be filled with a variety of food, entertainment, and children’s activities. This year the Cotton Festival will have over 30 vendors, including food and craft vendors. The entertainment outline for the festival is as follows:
