After 18 holes and a little bit of rain, a team emerged as the 2024 NETC Trailblazer Tournament winner.

Kenney Allen, Andy Graves, Bill Graves, and Robert Goff won the day among eight teams competing on April 19 at Marlboro County Golf and Recreation Complex.

After lunch, the team broke off at 1 p.m. for the third annual tournament taking on the par 70, 5,711-yard course with about 20 minutes of rain in the middle of play.

Money raised from the NETC Trailblazer Tournament will go towards the enhancement of NETC’s sports facilities, equipment, and other athletic-related expenses.

Teams also competing were Jimmy Usher, Hampton Hubbard, Billy Bundy, and Andy Blair; Suraj Patel, Jeff McConkey, Alex Robins, and Chris Speight; Patrick Altman, Larry Hyatt, Stephen Rogers, and Caleb Bailey; Aaron Burgess, Josh Driggers, Luke Rogers, and Samuel Clark; Burt Ayers, Robert Turner, Hubbie Meggs, and Scott O’Neal; Matt Dupree, Ryan Janssen, Matt Stalling, and Mark Williams; and The Wyld Dogz Zach Odom, Tyler Nolan, Spencer Odom, and Jordan Miller.

NETC is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) offering opportunities for students to compete in men’s and women’s golf and cross country, and esports.

Golf team members must be full-time students with at least 12 hours and a minimum of a 2.0 GPA. There are no age caps for players under NJCAA rules.
