Members of the Historical Sawmill Missionary Baptist Church held their annual Mother’s Day Program on May 8. Gloria Evans was named Mother of the Year 2022. Evans represented Missionary Circle #4. Other captains were Ruby McRae representing Circle # 1 and Gloria Anderson representing Circle #2. The guest speaker was Minister Christine Pearson of Word of Life Christian Ministries. Peggy Ford is president of the General Missionary and Rev. James J. Anderson is the pastor.
