WALLACE – The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a murder-suicide of a husband and wife in Wallace.
According to officials, the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a residence on Step Road in the Wallace area around 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 25.
The 911 caller stated that he had shot and killed a person and would take his own life after getting off the phone with 911 dispatch.
The Uniformed Patrol Division and the Criminal Investigation Division responded, and upon arrival, officials discovered an adult male and female adult, both deceased, inside the home.
They were identified as David Pryer, 69, of Wallace, and Janice Pryer, 54, of Wallace. They were husband and wife.
SLED crime scene was called and asked to assist in processing the crime scene.
This case is currently under investigation by the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office.
