CLIO — In their second year, the Alford family presented their spooky Halloween Walk Through Friday night located at 2526 Highway 381. Running from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., the Alford’s outdid themselves with new horrifying haunts and thrills this year.
“We went all out this year, “ says Roy Manning, spokesperson and Alford family member. “We added a lot more stuff and the Walk Through follows around the house.”
Lovers of celebrations, the Alford family organize similar events for the Clio community during other holidays.
“You need to come check us out at Christmas,” says Manning, explaining the family breaks out their jumbo-sized drummer boys and many other favorites for the religious day.
“The Alford’s love putting this on for the community. It’s important for our kids to have something to enjoy, it’s a safe way to bring the community together,” says Manning, who adds, “The whole family really gets involved, the kids handed out flyers in school.”
Dressed as a Squid Game character, Andrea Alford said, “This is my second year and it’s really cool.”
Her friend Jahdae Glass, dressed as a ghoul, added, “I love all the decorations.”
