MCCOLL — A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting at the Ashlyn Apartment complex in McColl, according to the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office.
Daquwan Shekal Stuckey has been charged with first degree assault and battery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and aggravated breach of peace, MCSO officials said.
Stuckey also had an arrest warrant for domestic violence and five bench warrants.
MCSO arrested three individuals last month in connection with this shooting, they said.
Brittany Hinson, Geronimo Jackson and Braeden Webster, were charged with assault and battery in the first degree, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and aggravated breach of peace. Webster received additional charges of assault and battery in the third degree.
Three people went to the hospital as a result of the shooting, according to Chief Deputy Larry Turner with the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office.
The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office released the following statement:
“Law enforcement authorities will continue to proactively address gun violence, emphasizing the importance of valuing human life and recognizing the traumatic impact of such senseless acts. The office strives to not only establish probable cause for arrest but also to build cases that result in convictions for the Fourth Circuit Solicitors if trials arise.”
The suspects are currently being detained at the Marlboro County Detention Center.
