MARLBORO COUNY — Marlboro County was filled with smiles, laughter and a true sense of togetherness during the recent “Family Fun Day” hosted by Sheriff Larry McNeil and the dedicated team at the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Department.

The event brought together families from across the community for an unforgettable day packed with fun, food and fellowship.

With vibrant activities for kids, engaging stations led by local leaders, and an atmosphere of pure joy, the gathering exemplified what community partnership is all about. Sheriff McNeil and his staff went above and beyond — not just in organizing the event, but in actively connecting with residents to strengthen trust and build bridges.

From bounce houses and face painting to heartfelt conversations between neighbors, “Family Fun Day” wasn’t just an event—it was a celebration of unity, safety and the shared mission of making Marlboro County a better place for all.

Community leaders and volunteers were instrumental in making it a success, highlighting the power of collaboration in promoting wellness and togetherness.

As families headed home with full hearts and new memories, the message rang clear: When law enforcement and the community stand side by side, great things happen.
