At the Marlboro County Board of Education meeting on Oct. 3, Landon Shelley was recognized for holding a state office in SC DECA. DECA is a Career Technical Education organization for marketing and business students. The emphasis is on preparing emerging leaders for careers in Marketing, Finance, Hospitality, and Management. Landon, a senior at Marlboro County High School, is currently the SC DECA Vice-President of Hospitality.
