BENNETTSVILLE — The Bennettsville Police Department announced Tuesday officers arrested Quontrell L. Davis, charging him with two counts of Grand Larceny, and three counts of Burglarly. Charges are related to earlier incidents that occurred at the Marlboro High School from July 30 to August 18.

According to BPD officers, Davis was observed by law enforcement entering the school’s field house on several occasions. Following his arrest, multiple missing items belonging to the Marlboro County High School were found to be in Davis’s possession.

BPD released the following statement Monday regarding this incident: “Davis was transported to the Marlboro County Detention Center, where he remains in custody pending a bond hearing. The Bennettsville Police Department remains committed to protecting the safety of our schools and community.”
