September 21

MCCOLL — A call initially came into the Investigative Division of the MCSO reporting larceny having occurred August 21 on West Railroad Avenue. Following an investigation into the claim, investigators discovered a female suspect and her boyfriend allegedly entering the home of a family member and leaving with U.S. currency. A warrant was obtained for Taylor Alexandria Coyle, who was arrested on September 21 without incident and placed in the Marlboro County Detention Center. Coyle was given a $2,500 PR Bond.

BLENHEIM — Deputies apprehended Geoffrey Daniel Small on a domestic violence related arrest warrant. Arrested without incident, Small was transported to MCDC, where he is currently awaiting a visit before a magistrate. Small’s alleged victim sustained physical injuries because of the incident, and Small received a $25,000 Surety Bond.

September 22

MARLBORO — Deputies apprehended Morgan Elizabeth Springle on an outstanding warrant for threatening the life of a public employee. Sprinkle was taken into custody September 22, without incident and transported to the Marlboro County Detention Center. Springle received a $10,000 PR Bond.

MARLBORO — Investigators initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign. It was revealed the driver, Terry Oxendine, had a suspended driver’s license. Additionally, his vehicle’s tags also expired. After being taken into custody, Oxendine was found to be in possession of a quantity of fentanyl. Oxendine was charged with driving under suspension, disregarding a stop sign and possession of fentanyl. He was transported to the Marlboro County Detention Center without incident, where he received a $7887.50 Bond.

September 23

MARLBORO — Deputies apprehended Howard Jason Driggers on an arrest warrant for Assault and Battery, taking him into custody without incident. Driggers was then transported to the Marlboro County Detention Center, where he received $1,000 PR Bond.

September 24

MCCOLL — Cumberland County law enforcement apprehended Brent Taylor Rogers September 24 for Grand Larceny, Malicious Damage to Personal Property, and Domestic Violence relating to an earlier event occurring August 1, in the McColl area. MCSO deputies transported Rogers to Marlboro County on September 24, processing and booking him in MCDC without further incident. Rogers received a $22,500 Bond.

September 26

PINE STRAW — Deputies arrested Curtis Quick Jr. for Burglary 1st Degree and Malicious Damage to Personal Property Quick, stemming from his allegedly breaking and entering a residence in Pine Straw July 27. Quick is currently being held at the MCDC pending his day in court.

MCCOLL — Deputies received a report of Justin Brigman hiding inside an abandoned residence in McColl. After being taken into custody, Brigman was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and methamphetamine. Ultimately, Brigman is charged with arson for intentionally burning a residential dwelling located on Bungalow Street, and possession of crack cocaine and methamphetamine. Brigman was transported to MCDC without further incident and is awaiting a bond hearing.
