MARLBORO — Samantha Bullard and Chasity Graham were apprehended by the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office in relation to outstanding drug court bench warrants. The warrants were issued due to non-compliance with program participation guidelines. Both individuals were picked up by MCSO investigators and transported to the Marlboro County Detention Center.

August 21

MCCOLL — Ronald Smith was taken into custody by the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office and charged with assault and battery. Charges stem from an earlier incident that occurred in McColl. Smith was apprehended by investigators without incident and transported to the Marlboro County Detention Center, where he is awaiting a bond hearing.

WALLACE — Elijah Blair has been arrested and charged by the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office with Criminal Solicitation of a Minor and Disseminating Obscene Material “Under 18” from an incident that occurred in Wallace. Blair was taken into custody at his home in Wallace where he was subsequently transported to the Marlboro County Detention Center for booking. During Blair’s arrest, investigators seized electronic devices that will be sent to SLED for forensic analysis. The investigation into this matter is currently in its beginning stages, and further details may be released as the case progresses. During Blair’s bond hearing, Investigator Bulusan explained the investigation is in its early stages and the possibility of what he believed his investigation may yet uncover. Investigator Bulusan requested for a substantial bond to be set, including denial and the request for GPS monitoring. Despite Bulusan’s request, GPS monitoring was denied, and bond was set at $50,000 Cash/Surety.

August 25

MCCOLL — The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Tristan Adams with Domestic Violence. Additionally, Adams is charged with a second incident of Larceny for stealing items from a residence located on Stubbs Avenue, as well as with Receiving Stolen Goods and Resisting Arrest. Investigators arrested Adams without incident in McColl. Adams is currently at the Marlboro County Detention Center, where he is awaiting a bond hearing.

WALLACE — Dwayne Ratliff has been apprehended by the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office for outstanding arrest warrants in relation to domestic violence and malicious injury to property. Ratliff was taken into custody in Wallace and transported to the Marlboro County Detention Center, where he awaits bond at a later date.

August 26

BENNETTSVILLE — The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office apprehended and charged Marquis Ford with assault and malicious injury to property. The charges are related to an earlier altercation between Ford and another individual, which resulted in the victim discharging a firearm in self-defense, ultimately striking Ford. Following his arrest, Ford was transported to the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Detention Center without further incident.
